Impressions of Southern Nevada 2007
I spent the month of April painting and studying the southern Nevada desert, where I grew up, in preparation for an art display at the Paseo Verde Library this month. It was beautiful and serene to be once again in the desert and to wander around to soak in the grandeur as well as the delicate. The desert is a dichotomy, large, grand and expanse on one scale, yet small and delicate on the other. One must oftentimes bend down and look closely to see this beauty. I hope you will join me on September 12th at 6-8pm as I unveil my impressions of springtime in the desert at the Paseo Verde Library in Henderson, Nevada. I look forward to seeing you then.
