Hi everyone!

Many of you have wondered to where have I vanished?!!

After three years in my downtown Dexter studio, and having opened Daisy Lake Art Gallery, it was time to make a change and return my major efforts to my own painting again.  In September I moved my studio back into my home in the countryside near Dexter.  Since then I am devoting much more time to my own painting.  Just like most artists, when we aren't creating and learning at the same time, we get grumpy and feel dissatisfied.  So I am happy to say that I'm back in the studio, I've settled into a routine, and I'm spending 6-7 hours a day painting.

Recently I've begun work on a series of still lifes, for which many of you have expressed excitement.  I will put up a few photos soon, as well as the anatomy of my own painting style and technique.  As the collection nears completion, I will be sure to let you know when and where it will be exhibited.  Details are still being worked out.  In the meantime, I'm going to kind of keep it under wraps.

On another note, a small and intimate group of exquisite artists will be meeting in my studio monthly to perfect our skills and knowledge of oil painting.  Thank you for everyone's interest.  This should be fun!
